Are you retarded? After you workout (like after for the rest of the day) you are feeding your muscles. And of course Pilates will be fat burning.

works the core muscles, great for posture, easing lower back pain etc.

I've been taking pilates for several years. Some of the stuff she does, I have never seen in class. She's way too tough.

not really. It's for strength, balance, and tone.

know what? a friend of mine, an "iron man" in the literal sense (he came in 2nd in the competition 3 or 4 yrs ago) started pilates 2 yrs ago. when my sister told him she did not want to do pilates because she wants to do "the real stuff" sports-wise, he said every muscle in his body was shaking when he first did it and it was one of the most demanding things he d ever started - if done correctly and honestly. But ppl with such prejudices and disrespect for sth different will never get thatanyway

but to be a good runner and to make all exercise quality(e.g. lift weights), you should have very strong abdominal muscles and this is quite good to develop your abdominal and back muscles-and certainly try power yoga-its completly perfect for all muscles. i think that power yoga can help you.

well what I usally do is lift weights, push ups and run to build leg muscles. It is hard to start the weights when you have no arm muscles but you can start with push ups(just a few) then once your arm are quite pumped you can workout with the weights.
