When I do this exercise there is a lot of strain in my neck, any tips on how to fix this?

didn't think we did pilates in trainers???? that was pure momentum,no control and certainly not done using any pilates principles or any thought into the method....i'm hardly surpised the pilates industry is in ruins!!!!

once you have mastered this, lift your legs (w/o bending at the knee) into a 90 degree angle in relation to your torso. afterwards you will be able to to this pilates workout. good luck!

the burning in your legs indicates that your hip flexors and quads are not strengthened enough. when i first attempted this excerise i encountered the same problem. instead i first started with leg lifts to build up my strength. you can do this by laying flat on an exercise mat. lift your knees towards your chest. start with low reps and increase as your stamina increases.

The excercise you showed i can not do it, i am not fat i just and force my legs up without it burning my legs!i can't feel if in my abs at all

Hmm im not fat and i almost have my 6 pack,you can't see if but when i tense its clearly there,Anything wona help me with this? should i lose weight or work my abs more?

Depends on how FAT you are. Lol, I don't wanna sound mean or anything, but this exercise is only to strengthen&tone your ab muscles.
